Hello, I’m Feliciana Guanzon and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Orange County. I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University.

I have extensive experience working with various populations of  youth and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, learning to cope, trauma, and family of origin problems. I trained and practiced at substance abuse rehabilitation programs, community mental health agencies and group practices. I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental space to identify, understand and increase self-acceptance of vulnerabilities. I’ll help you connect with your strengths and learn new ways to live in wholeness.

Working together, you will practice self-exploration, examine emotional blind spots, develop accountability, and understand behavioral patterns. I adaptively apply strategies in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Inner-child work, Behavior Therapy, Strength-based and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we will identify sources of your issues, understand more compassionately how you have had to cope and find ways to adjust or replace unhelpful responses. I incorporate mindfulness throughout that will empower you to increase awareness and befriend difficult emotions. Techniques like journaling, role-playing, and expressive activities will help you develop new ways of coping in difficult situations.
